Recognizing that changes in leadership are inevitable, Holiday Inn Club Vacations has established a succession planning process to provide continuity in leadership and avoid extended and costly vacancies in key positions. These succession plans allow our organization to develop our “bench strength” by identifying and preparing candidates for leadership positions that become vacant. However, the succession planning process should not be used for the sole purpose of replacing existing team members. It is also a great way to identify potential and talent to grow our team members. This training discusses the purpose and benefits of succession planning, outlines the process HICV follows, and takes a deeper look into the 9-Box.
