Work hard and be nice to people
Each month we’re highlighting team members who are taking their leadership development by the reigns and pursuing their career goals through the Academy of Learning & Developments program, Expansions. This six-month program uses real-life projects to facilitate leadership skills along with mentorship and self-study assignments.
When asked why she applied for Expansions, this is what Taylor had to say:
Expansions was a great opportunity to grow and engage more with the company. I wanted to learn how to become a strong leader, which with this program I got to do that and much more. The classes, projects, and wonderful people I met along the way really helped prepare me for the next step in my journey here at Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
What are your takeaways from being part of Expansions?
The biggest takeaway I got from the Expansions program is the strength in being a great leader comes from the team that you build. During Expansions I was able to collaborate with people I would not have had the opportunity to work with in my day to day. Being able to develop and execute a project during a pandemic was such a rewarding feat for me and my group.
