In today’s day and age there is a constant battle for our time and energy. Whether at work or home, we all have tasks and responsibilities that must be completed. At times, our to-do list can feel overwhelming and can cause us to experience analysis by paralysis. Or in other words, not accomplishing anything because we have so much on our plate! If it ever feels like there is just not enough time in the day, we must find a solution to manage our time so that we are prioritizing our lives effectively and accomplishing our goals.

Did you know that October is National Learning and Development Month? Scott Doggett, head of Learning and Development for Holiday Inn Club Vacations, helped found the holiday in 2016.

“National Learning and Development Month is about inspiring personal growth and success through continued learning,” said Doggett. “Holiday Inn Club Vacations has always strongly believed in growing our people. With the right tools and a little encouragement, everyone can learn and grow in both their personal and professional lives. By establishing this unique forum, we now have the opportunity to spread that message to individuals everywhere.”

The company will also be sponsoring its 2nd annual Learning Assembly to celebrate this important month. Join us on Wednesday, October 9 at UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando, Florida for a free event filled with presentations by top learning professionals from around the country! Then stay for a Q&A session and browse the Barnes & Noble pop-up store for some new reading materials to kick off your own personal and professional development. Free lunch will be provided by Chick-fil-a.
