The Berry Pickers

by Amanda Peters.

Teri Cross shares her must-read:

“Summary: A story starting in 1962 of two families navigating tragedies. Joe growing up battling guilt and anger from losing his sister and brother, Norma feeling lost in the world in which she’s told she belongs even though so many things contradict what she’s told.

My take:⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book’s plot line was obvious, but purposefully so. Even with knowing where you were being lead, it was a good read. I was invested in the characters and the journey they were taking. I personally felt that Norma should have had a lot more anger than she did after everything played out the way that it did.”
