We recommend considering a variety of different factors for inspiration - your experience in your role, Clubgo trips, time spent working with other teams, or what would make HICV the perfect place to work. You can also review the judging criteria below for additional guidelines.
Additionally, the Academy of Learning and Development Team will be hosting Innovation Workshops to support Team Members as they develop their ideas.

Innovation Workshop Registration

  1. This idea supports all our organizational goals and/or strategies.
  1. The idea is not in conflict with an existing policy or procedure.
  1. This idea is high impact to the organization and will affect change throughout the network.
  1. This idea is relatively simple to implement successfully.
  1. This idea is relatively low cost to implement.
  1. This idea is a new concept that is not already available in one form or another 

It is possible that multiple ideas could be implemented from the competition but only one grand prize winner will be selected.

Yes. One idea per Team Member will be accepted.

Any submissions that were not previously picked are welcome to be resubmitted.

No. Group submissions are not allowed.

We recommend the ideas be high impact and low cost but there is not a specific cap on how much the idea will cost to implement.

Yes, as long as the Team Members are active in UltiPro through December 31, 2024. 

No. Any active Team Member, regardless of their tenure, may participate.

Team Members who have had their idea advanced to the second phase of the competition will receive an email notifying them of their selection and next steps.

This is an exclusive Sales & Marketing recognition program that awards high performing team members each year who met a set of performance criteria. The 2024 Masters Trip will be hosted in Rome and the winner’s invitation includes airfare, room, and excursions.

Yes.

During the second phase of the competition, the Academy of Learning and Development will host a series of optional development classes open to any participant. The Academy of Learning and Development will also offer all finalists one-on-one coaching and support prior to their final presentation.

Attending an Info Session or Workshop is not a requirement to submit an idea or qualify for the next round. These are supplementary offerings for Team Members who are interested in learning more about the program and growing their skills. Participation in any additional offering, class, or workshop has no weight on winner selection.

The 2021 winning idea was the "Guest of Honor" program. Guest of Honor provides complimentary resort stays to active-duty military, veterans and their families. To kick off this program, Holiday Inn Club Vacations donated more than 10 million Club points.

The 2022 winning Idea was "Library of Knowledge" which is currently in the pilot testing phase. The 2023 winning idea was ""Life Milestones" which is currently in development.
