Kemmons’ Spirit of Innovation Challenge celebrates ARDA wins!

The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Awards are a widely recognized and highly regarded competition, celebrating the best in resorts, projects, teams, and individual. Holiday Inn Club Vacations received 14 awards, including two for the Kemmons’ Spirit of Innovation Challenge! 

The Kemmons’ Spirit of Innovation Challenge was awarded the ARDA Circle of Excellence (ACE) Innovator Award and Employee Engagement or Communications Campaign. ACE Awards are considered the highest level of excellence within our industry and to receive this award in our inaugural year is an honor.

In celebration of this achievement, the window for submissions has been extended one week! Idea entries will be accepted until 11:59PM EST on May 13th, 2022.

 

About the Challenge

The Kemmons’ Spirit of Innovation Challenge was created to be a platform for our team members to share their unique and original ideas to support our Growth Roadmap. In our inaugural year, the challenge received 225 ideas from across our organization! The participants received coaching from the Academy of Learning and Development and made connections with leaders across all levels of our organization. They excelled through the three rounds of judging, culminating in an executive leadership panel. The winning idea, Vacation for Vets, is being implemented in the coming months.
